Some people develop "sticker shock" when it comes

to learning the price of a wedding or specialty cake.

Perhaps  they are thinking "That much money for a little

flour, sugar and eggs?"  What they may not realize is

that a serious cake baker/designer puts quite a few

hours of his or her time into a cake, from the start to the

finish!.

The cake baker's time usually begins with a

consultation and tasting for the bride.  Once the cake

is booked, it involves not only the baking, but

depending upon the type of decoration chosen,

it could require several days of preparation, followed

by the actual icing and decorating of the cake. After

that there is the assembly, delivery and set-up to be

done.

* Prices start at $4.50 per serving for wedding cakes and includes your

  choice of cake flavor and filling, if desired.

* Specialty cakes priced individually, depending upon cake flavor, number of

  layers, shape and decorations.  Minimum custom cake order $50.  Custom art 

  work can also increase price.

* BUNDT CAKES 10"  $26 - $35 depending on decorated or not.  Mini-Bundts

  are $4 - $5 depending on decorated or not.  ALL FLAVORS and delicious!

* Cupcakes (Mini $1 each) Standard ($2.25 each simple decoration $2.50 -$4

  custom) JUMBO - $3-$5 depending on decoration and flavors.

* Cake BonBons come is a huge assortment of cake flavors and decor.  A great

  way to sample a variety of delcious, bite-size confections.  $1.50 each.

* Shortbread Cookies - $2 - $5 depending on size and art work.

* Rolled Fondant and European Buttercream -

  Add $1.00 per serving.

* Add-ons such as edible, hand-piped lace, custom artwork, additional

  expense - price varies upon request.

* Gum Paste Flowers - additional expense depending upon design - price

  varies.

* Fresh Flowers - Cakes by Victoria can work with your florist to 

  coordinate receiving the flowers for your cake, or we can provide them

  for you . Price quoted upon request.

* Delivery and set-up fee will be determined upon consultation based on distance

  and estimate of set-up time.

* No debit or credit cards accepted effective 1/31/10.  Cash or checks only.

 

SILVER CAKE PLATFORMS are available to showcase your cakes. Rental fee

and refundable deposit will apply.  Call for pricing.

Cakes by Victoria is family owned and operated. All cakes are made fresh, on site.

We do not have unlimited capacity so to ensure we can make your order please provide no less than 3 days notice for simply decorated cakes.  For more elaborately decorated cakes, please provide at least a 5 day advance request.

There may be times during busy seasons, such as March through May (Easter/Graduation) or October through December (holidays),when our lead times may increase up to a week or more!!!!!!!!

If we decline your order due to capacity we are sorry, (we HATE to turn down business) but as much as we would like to clone Victoria, the simple fact is... there is only one of her!  Just remember, the sooner you get your order in, the more likely you are of booking a cake. 

(BUT - let me also add ... there ARE times we CAN take LAST MINUTE REQUESTS!)
