I would like to acknowledge both of my parents, Mary and Otto Overcash and give thanks for their love and support all of these years. Although they remained in the background they have been and continue to be a big part of the success of Cakes by Victoria.

My mom helped me bake untold numbers of cakes during the busy times and whipped up gallons of icing and kept it coming while I decorated.  She helped keep the kitchen tidy and all my bowls, bags and tips washed up and was there to babysit for my girls while I made deliveries or met with the brides.  I will be eternally grateful for her time and work behind the scenes. Thank you, thank you, Mama for all the giving, the talent and the unselfish hours you have put into Cakes by Victoria.

My dad has always been here to run errands for me, help me with my deliveries and was my "pro-bono" photographer!  Many of the pictures you see on my photo page are ones that my dad shot prior to delivery or on-site!  Thank you, thank you, Daddy for everything you have done for me and

to Cynthia Mills, better known as

"THE SIGN GAL"! 

Cynthia Mills is an extremely talented sign artist who has done quite a bit of work in and around Charlotte over the years. She is probably most well-known for her creative flair in doing boat lettering.  But Cynthia has painted everything from the roofs of buildings to billboard signs.  A good bit of her work can be seen in historic, downtown Pineville on storefronts. 

Her talent is somewhat of a dying art and I feel privileged to have had her create my store front signage.  She and I are friends going all the way back to 7th grade and reconnected about 2 years ago.
